paradise valley real estate

If you are looking to purchase a home in Paradise Valley you are looking at purchasing some of the most exclusive real estate the valley of the sun has to offer. Paradise Valley is known for its large lots of generally an acre or more along with breath taking unsurpassed views including: Mummy and Camelback Mountains.Mummy Mountain is protected by the Mummy Mountain Preserve Trust, and restricts and/or eliminates any further development in order to protect the Town’s natural geographic features which benefit Paradise Valley as well as other neighboring communities. Camelback Mountain is a prominent valley landmark and what some consider to be the best views of the valley.

In addition, to being home of some of the finest resorts in the valley, Paradise Valley also has a number of famous residents from both past and present. Some of which include; Barry Goldwater, Billy Graham, Mike Tyson, Erma Bombeck, Caleb Reese (The Instant Classics Lead Singer), Dan Quayle, Sandra Day O’Conner and former MLB Player Mark Grace.

Most of the homes built in Paradise Valley are custom or semi custom homes. Most of the custom homes with moderate views will start at about $1,500,000 for roughly 4000 square feet. Which is quite a bit different from a couple of years ago when dirt was basically selling for $750,000 for an acre (view lots and hillside lots were considerably more). In this lower price range the homes generally need some updating and probably don’t have the best of views. With the market the way it is now, you can pick up a great house in Paradise valley starting around $2,000,000 and can go all the way up to over $15,000,000 more some of the more exclusive custom homes that Paradise Valley Real Estate has to offer. If you haven’t been to or haven’t taken a look at Paradise Valley in a while, you should definitely come out and take a look what the Paradise Valley Real Estate Market has to offer. Some of my favorite Paradise Valley communities are: Clearwater Hills, Montelucia, Mummy Mountain Estates, Collice Portnoff Estates, Casa Blanca, and Judson just to name a few.

Skin Care Tips for Men

While women are usually the ones heading to the spa for a facial or to the beauty counter for the latest skin care products, men also need to pay attention to their skin regimen. Men are prone to breakouts and clogged pores during the summer because they typically have larger pores, and
don't use translucent powder or makeup that can absorb excess oil.

The summer months can be especially damaging to the skin, and men who spend time outdoors or live in a humid climate need to modify their routine to keep the pores clear of oil and grime, and to maintain a healthy glow. Here are some important summer skin care tips, just for men:

1. Cleanse twice per day with a clarifying cleanser. Don't use plain soap to scrub your face each morning or night; splurge for a high quality cleanser that will keep pores clear of oil and keep the skin looking healthy. Clarifying cleansers are important for a man's skincare routine, because it prepares the skin for a shave or exfoliation by reaching deep into the pores. aMENity, a company that makes grooming products for men, recommends using facial cleansers that contain liposomal vitamins A, C, and E that are readily absorbed into the skin. This prevents ingrown hairs and also helps the skin maintain its youthful look.

2. Use a toner with glycolic acid daily. Men's skin is typically thicker and tougher than women's skin, so it can tolerate active ingredients in toners and astringents. Glycolic acid helps keep the pores clear throughout the day, and will also reduce the risk of ingrown hairs after shaving.

3. Exfoliate at least once every four days. Getting rid of dead skin cells with a natural scrub is an essential part of your summer skin care routine. Undergo a deep exfoliation at least once every four days, or once per week to scrub away dead skin cells, reduce the risk of ingrown hairs from shaving, and keep your skin looking healthy and glowing.
4. Use a lightweight moisturizer with SPF 15 or above. Wearing a light moisturizer will keep your skin's moisture content in balance, and reduce the risk of wrinkles and fine lines developing. Use a lightweight moisturizer immediately after shaving to restore the lost oils from the shave,
and apply it at night to promote healthy cell regrowth.

5. Use an aftershave daily. Aftershave also helps to restore lost moisture and oils after a close shave, and you'll need this to protect your skin and reduce its sensitivity to the sun. Look for all-natural aftershave and nourishing oils to promote a more even toned complexion.

6. Don't use harsh acne products before hitting the beach. Acne products that contain salicylic acid and other powerful ingredients can dry out your skin and make it more prone to sunburn. SkinCarePhysicians.com reports that topical retinoids commonly used to treat acne can increase the risk of sunburn. These products can weaken the cells on the top layer of your skin, so your skin will become more sensitive to the sun. Use these only at night if you need to manage acne or breakouts, so you're not putting your skin at risk for further damage.
